the 2 access points canal de garonne have both been restored, , boats can again access immediate reaches of river @ these points. additionally first river lock, between moissac , garonne itself, has been flooded barrage golfech power station on garonne, , permanently open boats can reach garonne , navigate short distance of river.


the remaining 6 river locks disused , unnavigable. proposal exists restore 5 river locks between moissac , montauban, creating waterway ring consisting of tarn moissac montauban, canal de montech montech , canal de garonne moissac.
