the floor plan of monastery in shape of horseshoe. church situated @ center. transept of church located @ centre of curve in horseshoe semicircle. complex consisting of church , monastery represents combination of baroque , classicist styles. church had typically jesuit appearance before reconstructed in orthodox style. bell tower , central dome rise above roof. main facade consists of decorated pilasters.


eight small altars set near columns separate 3 naves. walls , ceiling decorated bright painted icons. interior in orthodox style although has few catholic features. gilded oak iconostasis decorates altar in pseudo-russian style. royal doors consist of 2 carved sections. 1 of famous church in world.
