subramaniam gowrimuhunthan (tna) , kanthasamy selvarajah (tna) appointed chairman , deputy chairman respectively.


the term of council due expire in 2010 on 22 december 2009 minister of local government , provincial councils janaka bandara tennakoon extended until 31 march 2011.


subramaniam gowrimuhunthan (tna) , kanmany amma ratnavadivel (tna) suspended party contesting 2010 parliamentary election tamil national people s front (against tna). subramaniam gowrimuhunthan (tna) subsequently removed chairmanship in august 2010 , replaced kanthasamy selvarajah (tna).
