all models used 120-hp, 3.1l v6 mated 3-speed automatic transmission. in 1992, 3800 series v6 became available 4 speed automatic. both replaced la1 3400 v6 in 1996.

in 1994 lumina , trans sport received facelift, shortened nose , gave them more conventional look. silhouette did not receive update.

international

the pontiac trans sport sold in europe rebadged oldsmobile silhouette european safety specifications.

european customers had grown accustomed sleek minivans, vehicles such renault espace, , did not object trans sport s futuristic styling. in 1994, when trans sport updated, european version retained original shape, oldsmobile silhouette being sold badged pontiac trans sport.
