more anti-police riots occurred in paris on 27 march after fatal shooting of chinese man.

on 26 march, 56-year-old chinese man named liu shaoyao (simplified chinese: 刘少尧; traditional chinese: 刘少堯; pinyin: liú shǎoyáo, misspelled shaoyo), shot death police @ home in 19th arrondissement of paris after police received call domestic dispute. police claim liu charged them pair of scissors after opened door house , shot him dead. liu s family, in home @ time of shooting, dispute story.


aftermath

the day after shooting, around 150 protesters gathered around arrondissement police station , threw objects @ police , burned police car. 35 people arrested , 3 officers injured. on 28 march, more protests occurred, not violent previous day s protests. on 2 april, crowd of 6,000 people took streets in paris pay tribute chinese man killed police last month , protest against police brutality, local media reported.
