on either side of fountain 2 ribbed pilasters extend corbels of veranda. between these pilasters 5 granite slabs, iron waterspout located in second slab. exit point along pavement in granite, takes form of small semi-circular pillar. pavement of fountain, in granite, relative rua de miragaia, 3 steps above fountain.


between corbels, , below veranda, inscription slab, words loubado seja o santíssimo sacramento e puríssima conceição da virgem nossa senhora, concebida sem pecado original - 1629 (exalted holy sacrament , pure conception of our virgin lady, conceived without original sin (1629)).
