after 3 successful seasons @ hajduk, noticed , acquired italian giants juventus in 1998. during time juventus, won croatian player of year award in 2002. during eight-year spell club, tudor in excellent form, albeit injuries, , formed impressive defensive partnerships likes of paolo montero, mark iuliano, gianluca pessotto, lilian thuram, ciro ferrara, alessandro birindelli, nicola legrottaglie, gianluca zambrotta, jonathan zebina, giorgio chiellini , fabio cannavaro.

during 2000–01 season under carlo ancelotti, tudor had prolific year, scoring 6 goals. following season, return of former juventus coach marcello lippi, deployed midfielder, scoring 4 crucial goals (one against torino in turin derby, 2 goals in juventus comebacks against chievo , hellas verona , 1 during match against title contenders internazionale) in juventus s successful serie title campaign. following season, scored notable goal against deportivo de la coruña in last minute of second round match of 2002–03 champions league, allowing club progress quarter finals of competition, en route final, in defeated italian rivals milan on penalties.

constantly struggling injuries , mysterious bacterial infection of ankle, tudor forced end career in 2007, in june 2007 decided join former club hajduk split after not renewing contract juventus. after highly cautious rehabilitation process comeback in match against zadar on 20 october 2007. first official match in on 16 months. however, unable reach previous form , ankle injury problems continued. on 22 july 2008, @ age of 30, announced retirement due recurring ankle injury problems.
