the second ka-zar started similar character, reminiscent of both tarzan , of writer-artist joe kubert s 1950s caveman character, tor. created stan lee , jack kirby in x-men #10 (march 1965), lives in dinosaur-populated savage land, hidden beneath antarctica extraterrestrials. character based on pulp magazine namesake extent used same name , rough jungle lord concept, , lee has admitted had never read of original ka-zar stories.
