warren grew in sutherland area of sydney, , played local clubs menai hawks , sutherland sharks before being selected 2009–10 season squad australian institute of sport football program. signed central coast mariners 2010–11 season. in july 2010, warren , fellow central coast mariners team mate trent sainsbury chosen spend 2 weeks @ sheffield united s academy part of 2 clubs partnership.
